TUESDAY evening August 23rd — 6:00 PM
Meet at 6 PM at the FAS GAS at intersection of College Drive (Highway 5) and Highway 41. Meet at west end of parking lot near the mail boxes.
At this time in the summer, the evening light is low and we will have a spectacular Golden Light Hour, with probably some nice cumulous cloud formations over the hills.
I suggest participants wear long pants for protection from mosquitoes, thistles and fox weed.
Bring lenses, filters & gear for landscape, birds and wildlife and just plain great scenery shots.
By 9:30 PM we’ll be into the Blue Light Hour for people that want to stay that late and shoot the milky way. Moonset is at 8:10 PM, so if it’s clear, we could get some great night shots.
