On this journey, learn about the native and exotic trees of Buenos Aires, explore the abundant life of the Costanera Sur Nature Reserve, and enjoy horseback and boat tours through the Estancia Rincón del Socorro, a former cattle ranch turned nature reserve on the edge of the Ibera Marshlands. Walk through Rockhopper and Magellanic Penguin colonies on the Isla Pinquino, and tour the Deseado River Estuary, one of the richest biological areas in Patagonia with four species of cormorants, seals and dolphins and oystercatchers. Visit the Petrified Woods and sea lion colonies of Bahia Bustamante, and spend time in the Peninsula Valdes, a UNESCO World Heritage site, viewing the majestic Southern Right Whale from boat and land. With one of the largest Magellanic penguin colonies and elephant seal colonies in the world, sea lions, killer whales, and other marine and land wildlife this area offers diverse wildlife experiences.
