The first meeting of the Saskatoon Camera Club is September 6th at the Mendel Art Gallery (Auditorium downstairs).  Registration begins at 6:45.

CAPA Judging Course

Fall Field Trip:  “Honeywood Heritage Nursery”

September 18, 2011

We will be meeting at the Flying J/Denny’s on the North end of the city at 9am to car pool to the Honeywood Heritage Nursery.  The nursery is North of Blaine lake and will take just over an hour to get there (map).

Price: $5.00 per person

  • Come and see the beauty of Honeywood decked out in the splendid colors of fall.
  • Tour the nursery on one of our wagon trips or enjoy a stroll and discover the beauties of Honeywood at your leisure.
  • Pickup an assortment of lilies for fall planting.
  • Creations by local craftspeople will be on display for your viewing pleasure.
  • Be entertained by the music of local musicians.
  • Refreshments and dessert served in the Porter Home.

 Light the Night

September 17th

Scott Prokop is looking for some photographers to come shoot the Light the Night event on Sept. 17th at Kiwanis Park for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.  Email Scott at [email protected] for more information.

Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk

October 1st

Scott Prokop will be leading the local Saskatoon photo walk around the University of Saskatchewan Campus.  Be sure to sign up and spend a couple hours with a group of local photographers.  Sign up quick because only the first 50 people will be accepted.
