Photobooks and more

Here is the information about the photo books that Karen Pidskalny talked about at her presentation.  Karen also included some other great places to check out for prints and canvas.  She also included the scrapbook stores as some of you may perhaps like to create a photobook the old fashion way. I know both owners as well. Check out both stores, they each offer different product.

Costco

This is only good if you are a member or know some one who is a member

Phase 2

This site should be used for canvas, books and giftware
This site should be used for general prints, calendars and cards. They use fuji paper
You can also go to the store and use the kiosk available there. The staff is awesome and we get a discount as club members. If you are a new customer, remember to bring along your membership card.

Green Pixel Printing

I did not mention Melissa as I was talking about photo books. Melissa is a small business owner based out of her home. She does not have a huge selection compared to the stores but her prints are awesome and her customer service is great. Tell her I sent you to her. She is great when you need that print for clinic submission in a hurry.

Blacks Photography

I have not done any books through them however, I do know their prints are also great. They also carry a huge selection of photo gifts. They use fuji paper.

Don’s Photo

I also have not any books through them but know they also do them. I know they do a cute little mini book, easy to carry in your purse. It is on my too do list. They use kodak paper.

Photobook Canada

Very easy to download, use and create your books. Your books stay on line for a long time. They do run specials all the time, so check back often. Generally it is about two weeks from order to delivery. If you are making multiple books, not 3 of one book, but several different books, you must make and order each one separately. In the comments section, you can request to have them all shipped together. They have for me, adjusted the shipping cost. They also have great customer service by phone and by email.
Here is the code
Code: PPCLUB50
It is for one book 50% off.

Adoramapix

I have not used this company but I know some of our members have. They are across the border. Their books are photographic paper. More pricey due to this. They do have some additional features not found locally such as metallic books.

F11

I have done some prints through them. They do some speciality papers such as metallic, watercolour and canvas (mounted or unmounted).

Canvas Canada

I have had canvas done through them. Mine looked great.

Bayphoto

I have heard a lot about them, never used them but do know at least one club member does. Sounds like great customer service and quality. Also across the border.

Just Scrap It

They are located in Sutherland across from the Mohawk. Been around for over 10 years and has a huge selection.

Scrapbook Studio

This is a new store, just opened this summer and they are located in Lawson Heights, across from BJM highschool.
Happy book publishing and let me toast you with a glass of wine!!
